GDPR toolkit door BESA en Febelux ontwikkeld op maat van hun leden

Op 25 mei 2018 gaat de nieuwe Europese privacywetgeving, de GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation) van kracht. Elk bedrijf, vereniging, evenement, … (groot of klein) moet tegen die datum compliant zijn. Ook jouw bedrijf dient hiermee rekening te houden.

Vakvereniging ACC roept opdrachtgevers op het vak niet te bederven

Tijdens de BEA Awards lanceert de ACC, de vakvereniging van communicatiebureaus*, de Spoiler Award. Deze symbolische trofee in de vorm van een rotte tomaat op een sokkel wijst opdrachtgevers voor evenementen**, die de richtlijnen van het charter voor een gezonde competitie niet respecteren en zo het creatief talent binnen de eventsector onnodig onder druk zetten, terecht. 

MPI Belgium will host their annual MPI Conference as part of the third annual Global Meetings Industry Day (GMID) on April 12, 2018. MPI will join forces with the advocacy coalition Meetings Mean Business (MMB) and meetings industry organizations worldwide to showcase the real impact that business meetings, conferences, conventions, incentive travel, trade shows and exhibitions have on people, business and communities.

Marco Quagliarella is appointed as the new Director of International Operations at AIM Group International, reporting to Gianluca Scavo, CEO and Managing Director.  Quagliarella will be responsible for enhancing AIM Group’s presence in international markets, a strategy underway in the 2018-2020 business plan, as well as achieving profitable growth in the offices located in the Group’s individual countries.

Tijdens de Raad van Bestuur op donderdag 7 september is Emile de Cartier verkozen tot nieuwe voorzitter van Febelux, de beroepsassociatie voor de live communicatie sector in België en Luxemburg. Emile neemt hiermee na twee jaar de fakkel over van Frédéric François.
